Alpha Arcade — Word Games App

This Privacy Policy explains how Alpha Arcade ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our mobile word game application. We are committed to being transparent about what data is collected and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

The App itself does not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information to our own servers. All game progress, scores, achievements, and settings are stored locally on your device using the device's on-device storage.

However, the App uses third-party advertising services that may collect certain information automatically, as described in Section 2 below.

2. Advertising — AppLovin MAX

We use AppLovin MAX, an advertising mediation platform operated by AppLovin Corporation, to display advertisements within the App. AppLovin MAX may serve ads from AppLovin and its advertising partners (including but not limited to Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, and ironSource).

To serve relevant ads and measure their performance, AppLovin and its partners may automatically collect the following information:

• Device identifiers (e.g., Apple IDFA, Android Advertising ID / GAID)
• IP address and approximate geographic location (country / region)
• Device type, model, operating system version, and language settings
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, conversions)
• App usage information (session length, in-app events)

This data is used to serve advertisements, conduct frequency capping, prevent fraud, and produce aggregate analytics. AppLovin Corporation is an independent data controller for data it collects through its SDK.

3. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple requires apps to request your explicit permission before accessing your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA). When you first launch Alpha Arcade on an iOS device, you will see a system prompt asking:

• If you tap "Allow": Personalised ads may be shown based on your activity across other apps and websites. AppLovin and its partners may use your IDFA for cross-app tracking, ad targeting, and attribution measurement.
• If you tap "Ask App Not to Track": The IDFA will not be accessed. You will still see advertisements, but they will be contextual (based only on the current app) rather than personalised. This does not affect your ability to use any feature of the App.

You can change this choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:

• Advertising partners — as described in Section 2, AppLovin and its mediation partners process data for ad serving and measurement.
• Legal requirements — if required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

6. Data Retention

Game data (scores, achievements, settings) is stored on your device only and is deleted when you uninstall the App. Data collected by AppLovin is retained according to AppLovin's own retention policies; please refer to their privacy policy for details.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data held about you.
• Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected.
• Deletion — request that your data be deleted.
• Opt-out of sale — California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data).
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time (e.g., by adjusting ad-tracking settings on your device).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
